fuser's a program that identifies which process is using a file. No idea if it's really needed by faxsetup, or why. > Using sendfax -d -n # file I'm presented with a "password:" which I haven't > been able to set up. > So the first problem is there! How can I set up an hylafax user & password? That doesn't sound right at all. I don't remember having to do such a thing. Try http://www.hylafax.org. There's a mailing list as well, which is quite helpful: http://www.hylafax.org/mailing-lists.html Hope that helps a little. Hylafax is not completely trivial to set up, but it shouldn't be *too* bad.
