HELP_NEWBIE! Dns under kde

Hi all!
I'm a very new linux user, and i have a single problem:
I'm trying to configure my network, but in kde is impossible.
In the official user-manual there is a command line to do it : /usr/bin/ network-configlet-capplet
but doesn't work. Maybe i miss something, i don't know.
There's anothere way to resolve my network configuration?
