The first proposed update added these and there has been one more update just a few days ago. If you want to stray a little from stable to stable/proposed then add the following to /etc/apt/sources.list
# proposed deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian dists/potato-proposed-updates/ deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US dists/potato-proposed-updates/ I don't know if your problem is fixed and you should definitely have a backup usable kernel if you decide to do this. As far as I can tell this is your only solution other than going back to your old kernel or compiling one yourself. Eric
