mmmm...Straight 6300? I've got one of those in my closet:) In theory you could go to mklinux.org to get a bootable kernel, then use that to run the debian installer & friends. I wouldn't want to try it though(no sound, untested serial support, doesn't sound too useful), were I you I'd either trade it in for a 6400 which runs debian quite happily or buy a $25 486 at a computer show.
