Did you download it with mozilla? There was a time around 0.9.1 (I believe it's supposed to be fixed in 0.9.2, but IIRC my 0.9.2 did too) when moz due to a bug in the linux version ungzipped the file but left the extension or something like that -- I did not vote for the Austrian government
