The default setup for tomcat is to use jikes as a java compiler for the JSPs. I compile my servlets with the blackdown version from above. Just wandering if I get myself in trouble with this mix. I did not have any problems yet, except that I had to convince jikes to understand German Umlauts. Anyway the speedgain using jikes instead of Suns javac is incredible !!! Regards, Andreas
