I bought what I thought was a SoundBlaster16, only to discover it's an es1371...
Anyone familiar with these cards can imagine what I went through until i finally read /proc/pci Lesson learned: Don't judge a card by it's cover... Anyway, I've complied the modules for es1371 and tried to install them, but I have had no luck getting them to install. insmod ... insmod es1371 simply isn't working. i just get error messaged i can't reproduce now b/c i'm at work on my win2k box. has anyone else had a similar problem? i'm running kernel 2.4.5 on testing Doug Baker Catholic Relief Services MIT/Help Desk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
