Make a directory called mail, then >From .muttrc: mailboxes `echo $HOME/mail*` Mow have procmail dump the email into mailboexes in mail and mutt will see them and notify you automatically. Tip: don't put Sent or the procmaillog in mail as mutt will see new entries as new mail and give you a spurious notification.
