Edit the file modules/common.mak as suggested and look for the lines #CC= gcc CC := $(shell $(TOP)/modules/kernelcompiler.sh $(KERNELVER) $(KERNELSRC)) Simply uncomment the #CC= gcc line and comment the other one out, now everything should work fine.
