Hi Tim, Hrm... It's probably a good idea to find out _why_ you want remote X sessions. Do you want to have many X-terminals around your room so that you can login to a central computer from any one of them? If so, xdm is what you want. If you want to run X applications remotely, from another computer, xdm is the wrong tool. You will want to use SSH with X11 forwarding. Simon
