Hi,I just bought a PowerMac 7300/200 unit and just finished installing
ppclinux2000 which is based on debian.The installation completed
successfully and when I rebooted,I get the floppydisk icon with the ? on
it.The harddisk won't boot LINUX!What gives?Is this a bug with using this
powermac.I can boot and install the linux from cdrom,and I can boot and
install macOS and boot that from the HD but linux won't boot from the HD.I
was told by ppclinux installer to make the following partitions:/ at
appleunixver4,/home at linux,/boot at appleHFS,and swap at linux.The
partition for / for my install only had appleunixver2 type partion table not
version 4!Could that be it?Will the native debian work on the ppc 604e
200mhz powermac 7300/200?I think linux is for intel only!It never works on
other platforms according to this problem.Let me know if something can be
done or if I am stuck with the non multitasking macOS 9.
