So as you traceroute to 210.212.236.105, the kernel sets the next hop to 210.212.236.97 (the set gateway). And then when it gets to there (this host) its sets the next hop to 210.212.236.97 (the set gateway). And then when it gets to there (this host) its sets ... A routing loop.
