I'm trying to use my ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon card to capture video from TV.
I have a woody machine with a custom 2.4.17 kernel. I have intared the Gatos ATI drivers into /usr, and I can use xawtv, and mtv to display TV images on the screen under X. Looking over the Gatos SourceForge page, it appears that I also need the km module to be able to capture video. So I downloaded version 0.2.1 from there. I then symlinked my kernel 2.4.17 sources to /usr/src/linux. Typing make compiled the module (albeit with some complaints), but when I type "make test", I get: smokey:/home/stan/tmp2/km# make test sync insmod ./km_api.o ./km_api.o: unresolved symbol remove_proc_entry_Rsmp_5c747b84 ./km_api.o: unresolved symbol create_proc_entry_Rsmp_a39969af ./km_api.o: unresolved symbol proc_root_Rsmp_0f73b626 ./km_api.o: unresolved symbol sprintf_Rsmp_1d26aa98 ./km_api.o: unresolved symbol printk_Rsmp_1b7d4074 ./km_api.o: unresolved symbol kfree_Rsmp_037a0cba ./km_api.o: unresolved symbol kmalloc_Rsmp_93d4cfe6 make: *** [test] Error 1 What should I try next? -- "They that would give up essential liberty for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
