apt-get source 'package' once you add source lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list and run apt-get update: deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free for unstable as an example. the glibc package is one of the more complex packages we keep. There is a patches directory in the source as I recall so you should just need to add the patch to the dir and then register it with the package's makefiles. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
