Plugins don't need to be reinstalled - I've never had to. Just place them in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. It doesn't work perfectly on rc2 - see http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145217 for details. Works fine in galeon.
