-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
Has anyone had this error before? debian:/home/robert# /etc/init.d/fetchmail start Starting mail retrieval agent: fetchmail/etc/init.d/fetchmail: line 178: 1911 Segmentation fault start-stop-daemon ${START} "--command=${DAEMON} ${OPTIONS}" ${RUNUSER} 0>&- >/dev/null 2>&1 (failed!) The script is the original and it worked before, but after I have removed some stuff from /etc/rc2.d it ceased working. If I run fetchmail by hand it works beautyfully and the start stop daemon does work with all the other scripts. So I cannot find any reason, why this script does not work. Any ideas? Thanks Robert - -- I just missed a perfect opportunity to remain silent... -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE+jZx/ILH3kR/OabQRAg1uAKDKaNvmcvJqQsVPct8LIHv+9qsGwACghFFy X/+8/wjU6CXZJbQ1ZVa8G7Q= =G3yC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
