Hi all, I have just installed Sarge on my old PII at home (after the fedora upgrade trashed the system).
The system is up and running, however I cannot figure out how to get the ISA NE2000 ethernet card working properly. If I do a > modprobe ne io=0x340 irq=9 > ifup eth0 Everything works fine. However, if (for example) I just do a > modprobe ne I get the error: ne.c: You must supply "io=0xNNN" value(s) for ISA cards. However, in /etc/modules.conf I have the line options ne io=0x340 irq=9 Which I thought should do the same time. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong?
