What did you find and use? I have a printout, but without a link, so I can't remember where I found it, but if you Google for "+mdadm +tutorial" you'll find some good tutorials. I do know the tutorial I found was on an O'Reilly site. Setting up a RAID with mdadm is as simple as using aptitude to install mdadm and one command.
