Since installing kernel-image-2.6-686, every time apt-get, aptitude and friends run I get a stack of error messages about linux-image not being configured (see below). But when I run dpkg --configure it fails too (see below). Nonetheless, the system is running with the 2.6.14-2-686 kernel.
How do I undo the knot? ---------------error messages:----- Errors were encountered while processing: linux-image-2.6.14-2-686 linux-image-2.6-686 kernel-image-2.6-686 E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) A package failed to install.
