Hi,

Since OO 2.0.1-2 the non-antialiased UI fonts (and document fonts as well)
look extremely ugly (like the hints in TTF are not used). I am sure this
wasn't the fact in the previous version (2.0.0-5?).

Normally in KDE my menu font is a non-antialiased and perfectly rendered
small version (8pt) of tahoma, most probably using hints correctly and it
looks like a clean bitmap font. This was also the case for KDE-UI
Oopenoffice 2.0.0-5 (I guess).

Was there a change in font rendering lib/system between these two?
Is there something else I can change in my (font) setup?

btw: KDE is self compiled (3.5.1), OO2 and gtk libs are Debian's (testing).

I attach a small picture to illustrate the problem.
Left is OO2's version of the menu, right is KDE's.

Grtz.
Martin
