Well, if you want to display ASCII, then every font known to man, basically, will display it. So ASCII art isn't the trouble. It's probably characters that are outside of the ASCII range that are troubling you. For that, you have to make sure that your locale is set properly, and that your terminal program is also using the right locale. If you need help in that direction, let us know. -- Stephen R.
