There's a lot of postings about this problem, but when I read them they all seem slightly different from each other... I'm getting very frustrated (or I wouldn't be posting to this list).
Sound used to work fine. Running Sarge distro kernel 2.6.8-2-386, Alsa was happy. Life was good. Everything looked good... alsaconfig is happy, finds card. can store and restore settings. NO SOUND. Is it the IRQ difference?
