The recent discussion about 'apt-get' and 'aptitude' was interesting and useful (I've used 'aptitude' for years). It appeared that the consensus was not to mix the two.
What about 'aptitude' and 'synaptic'? Is it "safe" to use one, and then the other ... i.e., mixed use?
