Having a problem tracking down a problem with my wife's machine. Its a
1.2GHz Athlon, 768 MB RAM, two HDs a DVD ROM and a CD-RW:

hda: IBM-DTTA-371010, ATA DISK drive
hdb: Hewlett-Packard CD-Writer Plus 9100, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
hdc: ST328040A, ATA DISK drive
hdd: HITACHI GD-2000, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive

I rebuilt this pc because the old HD died. MB, CPU and RAM are known
good, because it came out of my machine when I upgraded. I am running
unstable with linux-image-2.6.16-1-k7 and the nvidia-image-2.6.16-1-k7.

In any case, I am getting what appear to be kernel panics, though they
are not making it into syslog. I have had two panics that I have
information on, the first on 17 May:

After this panic, I went ahead and dist-upgraded, and the problem
stopped writing the panic to the logs. However, I happened to be logged
in from the laptop an hour ago when she encountered a lockup. The remote
login captured the following:

In this panic, it appears to be an issue with reiserfs, however I have
not seen problems on any other box running reiser.

Could someone suggest what the problem could be based on these traps?

Thanks,
