The apt-get -f install debconf gives me the same complaint, and the dpkg-reconfigure debconf says this: hq:~# dpkg-reconfigure debconf /usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: debconf is broken or not fully installed Do I dare try to remove debconf?
