I don't know why it dissapeared but the following was suggested awhile ago as a way to add a device to a live system. No need to reboot. "echo "scsi add-single-device a b c d" > /proc/scsi/scsi where a == hostadapter id (first one being 0) b == SCSI channel on hostadapter (first one being 0) c == ID d == LUN (first one being 0) See the SCSI-Programming-HOWTO for more details." - -- Greg Madden Debian GNU/Linux -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE++KKRk7rtxKWZzGsRAgs0AKCVOlHUakWA3ah+YnpDmXPu8EEcgQCgtGTV yUYI8dBmtAdyU+MDoP12UCk= =hWyp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
