AIGLX, compiz and other new X features are not available from any offical Debian sources AFAIK. They are planned, I'm sure but you'd have to go to the source: the x strike force (aka the debian X maintainers). They live on irc.debian.org on #debian-x. There you can ask them yourself. This is the power of the free software community as no one can talk to the creators of photoshop and ask how things are progressing and you can even make a new friend or contribute to the effort.
