The file "/etc/X11/Xsession" includes all files in directory
"/etc/X11/Xsession.d", among others the file
"50x11-common_determine-startup".
In this file it is first tried to use "$HOME/.xsession" or
"$HOME/.Xsession" if allowed in "/etc/X11/Xsession.options"
and if still nothing is found it tries
"/usr/bin/x-session-mangager",
"/usr/bin/x-window-mangager", and finally
"/usr/bin/x-terminal-emulator".
