I use movemail <http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/movemail/>. In addition to those instructions, make /var/mail/ have permissions 1777 so that mozilla can write its lock file. Obviously, if you do this don't have procmail deliver the mail anywhere except /var/mail/`whoami`
