I had the same problem. I have added eth0 to the line auto in /etc/network/interfaces and it worked for me:
auto lo eth0 Tonny -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
