Hi Roman, Sure I remember. Thanks for the hints. Interestingly, there's also a tv channel associated with the same people and the url is: http://85.92.138.40:8000/;stream.nsv It's called Tramuntana-TV and it's streaming perfectly (both video and sound) Both video and sound are fine. The other stream that I talked about in my OP is basically audio, it's a webradio station with some accompanying eye-candy. I can't any sound. Both use faad. Here's the output from mplayer run in console: ==================================================== Playing http://85.92.138.40:8000/. Resolving 85.92.138.40 for AF_INET6... (Quit) Notice that the "Opening audio decoder" sections are identical; but one works (the 2nd) and the other doesn't (the original one). There are some differences in the first section, e.g. in the 2nd working stream: Bitrate: 300kbit/s Cache size set to 320 KBytes Cache fill: 5.00% (16384 bytes) In the original non-working stream Bitrate: 300kbit/s Cache size set to 320 KBytes Cache fill: 2.50% (8192 bytes) In both cases faad is used for the audio and it seems to work, at least in the 2nd case.
