I suggest u use h j k l instead of arrow keys, that will be more covenient if u get used to that!!
For the most time u can use vim, but sometimes when u just installed the system or in workstations where vim is not installed and u don't have the root privilege,
u have to use vi, and the most part of vim is compatible with vim.
