What is > the procedure for getting it to work again? I don't have a testing box at hand, but on an unstable box[1], evaluating (define-key c-mode-base-map "\C-cp" 'insert-c-procedure-skeleton) (define-key c-mode-base-map "\C-ci" 'insert-include-statement) in a C buffer, yields to the following results: C-h k Ctrl-C-p => describe-key: Symbol's function definition is void: insert-c-procedure-skeleton and C-h k Ctrl-C-i => describe-key: Symbol's function definition is void: insert-include-statement Which is what I would expect. Have you tested with emacs -q to be sure your local .emacs is not messing things around?
