I have tried my eigth SATA 750 GByte drives on over 20 different Mainboards but it seems, they do not doek on those controlers. Even my 3Ware 3w9500 four channel had problems which went solved after upgrading the Firmware. Now, the 3Ware controlers (3w9xxx) should handel the 1 TByte drives too which I have ordered for 2 or 3 weeks.
