Well, just try it. Go out and sacrifice a few dogs or cats and watch the Humane Society step in. Do it in front of the police headquarter building to save a bit of time. Oh wait. We don't eat dogs and cats (well in some places they do) go sacrifice a little lamb. Make sure you steal it from Mary. ;) To me, animal sacrifice is immoral. To the law it is too. That is my logical justification.
