-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 What is in your /etc/resolv.conf? Do the correct name servers appear in there?
If you ping an ip address of a server, does it work? What about using an IP in firefox? If the name server is set up correctly in /etc/resolv.conf, but you're not getting name resolution, make sure you can get to the nameserver. Try pinging it and/or traceroute ( traceroute -p 53 <nameserverip> ). Rehceb Rotkiv wrote: > I can suddenly no longer access the internet with my Debian Etch (default > kernel + updates).
