Do you have lm-sensors installed?
What does the 'sensors' command show?
Installed lm-sensors, and then:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sensors
No sensors found!
Make sure you loaded all the kernel drivers you need.
Try sensors-detect to find out which these are.
