The printername must be the same as on the Linux machine, which is the server. Again: Listen 631 Browsing On must be set on your cupsd.conf server machine. Don't forget to /etc/init.d/cupsys restart. Your Mac uses the driver of your server. This is one part of cups' philosophy ;) Try on your MAC: $ lpstat -a It must tell you that PrinterName is idle since some date. If not, Mac can't communicate with the cups server.
