According to my lookings using: locate pspell Returns: /usr/lib/libpspell.so.15 /usr/lib/libpspell.so.15.0.2 Then using: dpkg -S /usr/lib/libpspell.so.15 Returns: libaspell15: /usr/lib/libpspell.so.15 dpkg -S /usr/lib/libpspell.so.15.0.2 Returns: libaspell15: /usr/lib/libpspell.so.15.0.2 So... aptitude install libaspell15 aspell gnome-spell Will get you aspell, aspell-en (ia, ib and ic versions), pspell and gnome-spell Then you should be able to enable it... I know it works for me. Of course I default to "experimental" and subscribe to Joey Hess' bleeding archive too...
