Did an OBSD dev actually say that the two were roughly equal in terms of security? Debian provides excellent response time to providing bug fixes, but compare the number of kernel security fixes in any 6-month time frame, or if you consider each 6-month release of OBSD as a security update, how many happened in each OS? At no point will either be security-bug free, however, I am quite confident that there are more secuity-bugs right now in the Linux kernel than in the OpenBSD kernel. For third-party apps, aptitude and binary updates are very handy compared to the current state on OpenBSD. Doug. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
