As of the talk about having kids or not, you need to have a global vision, not only a US vision. Yes, there are too many people on the planet, but most poor people from under-developed nation don't have anything else than their kids... They have not reach the sophistication level of sitting back to meditate if they want to be "kids-free"... They just have them... -Is it good ? no, I don't think so, but it's the way it is... back in the days, they use to die from any type of flu, or benign sickness, but now there's penicillin, so people don't die so easily, and those 3rd world countries are getting overcrowded, as people still make babies at a fast rate... Tough theme...
