The 8199 is apparently a variant of the 8187, and *may* work with the 818x open source drivers: Here's a page about a similar MSI Wind machine: http://forums.msiwind.net/general-discussion/realtek-8199-linux-wireless-t1591.html and see also these: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/ubuntu-63/ubuntu-8.04-realtek-8187-on-tishiba-a215-s7414-652951/page3.html#post3233929 http://rtl8180-sa2400.sourceforge.net/ http://rtl-wifi.sourceforge.net/wiki/Main_Page Celejar -- mailmin.sourceforge.net - remote access via secure (OpenPGP) email ssuds.sourceforge.net - A Simple Sudoku Solver and Generator -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
