Hello Osamu, these are the first lines in my /boot/grub/grub.cfg on Debian # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE # # It is automatically generated by /usr/sbin/update-grub using templates # from /etc/grub.d and settings from /etc/default/grub So I think it's not the right way to edit /boot/grub/grub.cfg. Better edit the templates in /etc/grub.d and then run "update-grub".
