Fortunately, I had switched away from them before that: It was extremely slow to retrieve the mail with fetchmail, up to frequently losing the connection. That forced me to set a fetchlimit to get the mail in batches of a hundred or so. But I could actually see them losing mail while I was retrieving it by looking at the message count.
