Your xorg.conf has been customized and dpkg-reconfigure doesn't want you to lose those options when it attempts to reconfigure Xorg. Back it up by moving it: $ mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf_`date +%F-%T` $ dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
