Thank you Alan Connor for your most excellent help! My original post did not appear in the archives for several days, so I *assumed* it didn't post at all. Today, I just ran across a googled archive where my console keyword was mentioned and I noticed replies and began reading/testing. Your information worked perfectly! I now can get text copies of my console which is better than nothing :) I don't use fb locally since it breaks my consoles (silly nvidia driver thing). Thanks all for the replies.
