In KDE, whenever I try and start gimp to edit a graphics file I get the following error message
Service '/home/alan/.local/share/applications/gimp-usercustom.desktop' is malformatted. The referred to file has the following in it [Desktop Entry] Categories=Graphics;2DGraphics;RasterGraphics;GTK; Comment=Create images and edit photographs Encoding=UTF-8 Exec=gimp-2.4 %U GenericName=Image Editor Icon=gimp MimeType=video/mpeg; Name=GNU Image Manipulation Program StartupNotify=true Terminal=false TryExec=gimp-2.4 Type=Application Version=1.0 X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Bugzilla=GNOME X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Component=General X-GNOME-Bugzilla-OtherBinaries=gimp-2.4 X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Product=GIMP X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Version=2.4.3 NoDisplay=true Can someone tell me what is wrong here, and how to fix. The obvious strange thing seems to be MimeType, but what how does this file get generated in the first place -- Alan Chandler http://www.chandlerfamily.org.uk -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
