It seems that there is a problem with detection/auto loading of modules (udev or hal ?). I had to put some modules in /etc/modules : psmouse thermal battery ipw2100 snd-hda-intel ... All od them would not be detected and loaded automaticaly as before... psmouse loaded, hal and X can see my mouse.
