I got drupal installed and it seems to be working though the installation took a lot of effort to get it working since there are not any "debian" instructions that tell you exactly what to do. Now the issue is that having set up the admin user and being able to log in as that user, I can NOT get to the admin page to finish the installation.
http://localhost/drupal6/?q=admin It gives the error message; Access denied You are not authorized to access this page.
