I just want to mention that playing videos with the 2.6.29 kernel gives the same problem here, not just with mplayer but with any video such as Youtube videos played with the mozilla totem plugin; it looks as if a buffer is almost constantly full. AND my video card also is an ATI Radeon, so that's one more pointer in the direction of the Radeon driver. Let me show my output from the command above: 00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller [0401]: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller [8086:24c5](rev 02) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R300 NE [Radeon 9500 Pro] [1002:4e45] 01:00.1 Display controller [0380]: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R300 [Radeon 9500 Pro] (Secondary) [1002:4e65] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
